Why Bath Oak?

Bath Oak Workshop, Frome SomersetBased in Bath and with a local workshop a few miles outside of the city, Bath Oak is the natural choice when considering buying or improving any joinery in the South-West region.

Our products are manufactured to meet the highest standards, our stringent eye for excellent quality meaning we're confident enough to support our customers with a 5 year guarantee (Conditions apply - Contact us for details.).

We have a wealth of experience in period reproduction of old and listed box-sash windows, ancient doors and decorative mouldings, employing locally based joiners to measure and examine complex pieces prior to manufacture.

Our external doors, frames and windows are available with not 1, but 2 weatherproof-gaskets between openings. Our external joinery is traditionally made using 'comb' or 'mortice and tenon' glued and pinned joints and arrives 'ready to fit' along with any glass and handles.

We use multiple coats of the highest quality stains and microporous-paints; end-products require only a final coat once installed to realise a weatherproof and beautiful finish. Bath Oak Workshop, Frome SomersetOur internal joinery is available treated or in its natural state.

Our staircases are made on a millimetre-perfect CNC machine to ensure they don't squeak when walked on and will never be a poor fit.

Our traditional oak cottage and refectory tables and benches are simple yet beautiful. Hand-made by craftsmen in our Somerset workshop a few miles from Bath, these have to be seen to be truly appreciated.

Our commitment to source local craftsmen and timber means a lower carbon impact, even our website is carbon neutral and hosted exclusively using solar power. We care about the environment so Bath Oak products will never be manufactured abroad and shipped in. Everything we sell is made here in the UK, supporting local and national British business.
